Installation of medium voltage line on the distribution network - 1st contract

Lanauco obtains its first contract on the island of Montreal for the installation of medium voltage lines on the distribution network. Line installation becomes an official service offered by Lanauco and a department of linemen is created within the company. Lanauco now has 6 teams of linemen.

New Head Office in St-Alexis

Lanauco is investing close to $2M for the construction of a brand new sustainable and energy efficient building, which will become the company's head office as we know it today. This investment will allow the company to centralize its activities in one location and will promote its growth for the coming years.

Acquisition

The founders had a determined vision for Lanauco. They acquired their first garage and a yard in St-Alexis for the storage of vehicles and heavy equipment.

Lanauco receives ISO 9002 certification. This is a set of standards to be met regarding the quality of internal management and the procedures put in place.

Montreal Area

Lanauco obtains its first contract for pole planting on the island of Montréal.

Partnership with Hydro-Québec

Lanauco becomes a subcontractor for Hydro-Québec in pole planting. In 3 years, the company develops and obtains several contracts for HQ in Lanaudière.

Subcontracts

Lanauco obtains its first contract as a sub-contractor of a contractor for a major project in Lanaudière.

Foundation of the company

Jean-Claude Mailhot and Gilles Marsolais found Lanauco. They then contract for private companies and manage their activities from their homes.
